River Valley Metro District

The District is an independent unit of local government, separate and distinct from the Town of Silt and, except as may otherwise be provided for by state or local law or this Service Plan, its activities are subject to review by the Town if it deviates in a material way from the requirements of the Service Plan. It is intended that the District will provide a part or all of the various Public Improvements necessary and appropriate for the development of the Project within

the Town. The Public Improvements will be constructed for the use and benefit of all anticipated inhabitants and taxpayers of the District and the general public, subject to such policies, rules and regulations as may be permitted under applicable law. The primary purpose of the District will be to finance the construction of these Public Improvements.

River Valley Metropolitan District  (the “District”) is committed to providing equitable access to our services to all Coloradans.

Our ongoing accessibility effort works towards being in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA criteria.  These guidelines not only help make technology accessible to users with sensory, cognitive and mobility disabilities, but ultimately to all users, regardless of ability.

Our efforts are just part of a meaningful change in making the District’s services inclusive and accessible.  We welcome comments on how to improve our technology’s accessibility for users with disabilities and for requests for accommodations to any District services.
